Polyurethane is hard wearing, handles high loads, and will not mark the floor. The foot operated pedal seats the steel friction pad against the outer diameter of the wheel, holding it in place until you turn it loose with a flick of the toe. I was hoping this would work for my teenage ACD and save my leather goods from being chewed on. He gnawed on it quietly I was thrilled. But I had to take it from him within a few minutes. Gnawing apparently equals chewing pieces off. Not made for chewers or gnawers. It seemed to be well made, was soft, was actually a fairly good size and didn’t get gross when it got spitty. Pup’s new favorite chew toy!

My son let one of my pups have a corn cob, which my dog enjoyed immensely. However, son got scolded as these can be very dangerous to dogs, and I disappointed my pup by taking it away. I went to Amazon to see if, by chance, a dog toy existed that was a corn cob. And there we found this- the new favorite of MANY chew toys for my medium size aggressive chewers.
