Tornister Named to E. JägerVery nice Affe tornister named to E. Jger. There appears to few a few other names on there also. For obviously being rather well used, it is in very good condition. The leather is very flexible. It is complete. Has some corrosion of the metal bits. There is one small period repair on one side. See photos. The repair is typical of the era with just a lot of machine sewing. Made in 1941.

This starter has failed after less than one year in use. Used for 1 month last summer then, over the winter I had my boat winterized and upon summerizing it, the starter displayed a "flat" spot where it would not crank unless turned and tried again. It now doesn't turn over my engine. I'd like a refund or replacement. Do not recommend cheap knock offs for boat parts...

The best lower unit gear oil I have used

I have been boating my whole life, this is by far the best gear oil. I use this in my Johnson 115 even though this is technically made by Mercury. I seem to get less if any water intrusion into my gearcase with this oil. If there is any, the oil emulsifies the water and continues to protect the gears. I have had better luck with this than Pennzoil marine or others. Highly recommend. It is a blue color and easy to drain and fill.
