WWII USAAF Type A-4 Flying Suit (Size 40)Description This is an original WWII U. S. Army Air Force Type A 4 flying suit from the 42 16473 P contract. The A 4 was actually a pre war design, standardized in 1930, and remained the most prevalent USAAF flying suit until early 1943 when it was replaced by the AN 6550 and AN S 31.
