Funkstelle or Fernmeldstelle Communications Sign BWThis is a post war Bundeswehr communications flag or sign. The arrow is removable and has its own rope hanger, in case you need to use it to help point to the Funkstelle. This is very similar to the WWII version. It is nearly the same construction the straps would have likely been leather during the war rather than rubberized cloth, although that is not terribly distracting. The F on the flag is also made of a rubberized cloth and glows in the dark.

I love it. It’s very pretty and simple, in a good way. I plan to use it for all my jewelry and not just for travel. The structure is sturdy as well. The color (white) is just as depicted. I think I got the larger size but it doesn’t feel bulky at all. I like that it comes with an extra pouch for bulkier items. It’s one of the best jewelry boxes I’ve had!
