There is a big chunk of the Bakelite broken on the side and chips on the bottom. This is very similar to the flashlight that went in the storage box for the Bakelite lantern. The one that I know went in the box usually had a little switch to turn it on and off but this one has a twist on, twist off switch. It is the same size and shape, so it would still fit in the same

If there was more room it would work great but your near your leg is always in the way and you really can't use the drink holder so for 60 bucks I would have never have gotten it but for a shorter person I guess it would be okay or if there's more room in the console area
