Essenträger BodyThis is a slight mystery. There are no markings on it. It appears to be German, but it is certainly odd compared with most other original German essentrgers. The hinge for the lid is very unusual and the loops for the shoulder straps are a little small. It does need some work and it is missing the actual aluminum food container and the closure bolts nuts. It does have a really nice look, and the overall shape is very good for a WWII German one. Could
