I applied Silex sound deadening material to the rear interior of a Ford Maverick truck cab. Lots of narrow areas, and lots of curved surfaces. This set was a must to properly apply the mats to the metal surface. There were places that I had to push down with my fingers due to obstacles like seat belt mounts, but I could tell that I was not getting the same results as I was with the crimped rollers.

I used this sound deadening material in my car during an audio and interior upgrade, and the difference was noticeable immediately. Road noise, vibrations, and rattling were reduced a lot, especially on the doors and floor panels. The car feels much quieter and more solid while driving now. The material was easy to cut and apply, and the adhesive stuck very well without peeling up. It has a quality feel to it and conforms nicely around curves and tight areas. I also noticed my speakers sound cleaner and have better bass response after installing it.
