These stones are the closest thing to real diamonds and used in only the most elegant items. The tiara is plated in rhodium silver and 14 kt gold and has rings at the ends of the band for pinning to the hair and to fit all head sizes. The ball bearings make them roll smooth. I've put plenty of pressure through them and no bending or breaking. The middle sized unit is probably the most useful. The small one has it's uses but can act like a pizza cutter and easily go through sound deadening mats. The large one has a little too much surface area to get a good crush on the mats.
