Oil painting by Max UlvigCopenhagen born artist Max Ulvig (1913 1969) trained as a painter in 1928 and went on to make his exhibition debut at the respected Artists Autumn Exhibition in 1936. He became a member of the painters association Spirerne in 1937, founded the painters association Rammen in 1946, and had a number of exhibitions in Copenhagen.
