One is a classic, sparkly water-wave chain, and the other is a dainty satellite chain (the one with the little beads) featuring a small, polished initial "S." 3. Versatility: Since they are two separate pieces, you can wear them together for that trendy layered look or just wear one at a time for something more subtle. 4. Quality: The gold tone is bright and has a high-end shine to it. The clasps feel secure, and they both have adjustable extenders so you can get the layering lengths just right. What I am concerned about: Polish: I liked the finish and quality but I am skeptical about the tarnishing on the necklace. This might loose with time. I guess the time will tell.
