I washed it and dried it as soon as I took it out of the box. It fluffed out perfectly, so don’t be fooled by the flattened squishy blanket that arrives. It doesn’t shed, which is a bonus.

This is definitely one of the most comfortable blankets I have ever owned. The material is thick, soft, warm, durable, and resistant to shedding & fibers breaking off.
