It is twice marked with the original owner's name, an apparent "Ed Haiflich". A search of the National Archives unfortunately did not reveal a match. The hardware is green painted steel, approximately dating the headband's production from mid 1942 to late 1943. It exhibits third pattern spring clips, which have a fold in the metal's bottom edge. Bought this 2 year protection plan and come to find out it doesn't even cover simple stuff like our mattress losing it's shape and stability. A mattress should last longer than 1 1/2 years before it starts caving in and the foam and springs start to give. So disappointed. Asurion Protection is a waste of money.
