This book is a classic in attachment. It points to the beggining of the cientification of psychoanalysis. Bowlby brilliantly exposes his new methodology, influenced by ethology, but keeps Freud's ideas as his theoretical frame. Besides, it brings a foreword by Allan Schore, who went farther than Bowlby, thanks to the development of contemporary neuroscience.
