In der Nase findet man die Aromen von kandierten Zitrusfrchten, Mineralien und blumige Noten wie Geissblatt. Im Gaumen wieder spiegelt sich der Ausbau im Fass. Dieser verleiht dem Wein einen buttrigen gersteten Effekt. Er wirkt aber auch frisch und wrzig, im Abgang hat man die Aromen von frischen Mandeln
