As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I’ve read countless iterations of the character, but Jonathan Hickman’s Ultimate Spider-Man is something truly special. Hickman has long been one of my favorite writers—his work on X-Men, House of X, and Secret Wars was groundbreaking, and he brings that same level of depth and world-building here. Every panel is beautifully crafted, capturing the emotion, action, and energy of Spider-Man’s world in a way that makes it impossible to put down. This is exactly the kind of fresh, innovative storytelling I was hoping for. If you’re a fan of Spider-Man or Hickman’s work, this is a must-read. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!
