I've had several pepper grinders over the years, and none was as easy and smooth to use as this one. It fills easily, and it grinds evenly and smoothly with a gentle press of the button. I am glad there are two, just in case one does give out, I will have the other to use, as I am not interested in grinding salt. They always came out the same size, regardless of setting. About 5 weeks in, the clear plastic bottom came off of the salt grinder. I wasn't even using rock salt, just coarse salt. I could not get the piece back in. Then, the entire grind assembly came out as I was cooking. This item did not even get daily use. I purchased a different brand several years ago, I wish I had purchased that one again.
